Lakisha went beyond the call of duty to check in with me from the moment I booked Timely Expression to returning from the honeymoon (I gained a sweet, sweet friend during the process). Let me first start off by saying that Lakisha is God sent! Just to give you some background information I am an out-of-town bride having my destination wedding in Charleston all the way from Washington DC. I had no idea what I was doing planning wise I was using the internet as my only resource to find vendor's because I knew no one in the Charleston area. I was referred to Lakisha by a DJ that I happened to find online. I was on a very tight budget & had no connections in the Charleston area. I hired Lakisha as my event coordinator but honey let me tell you she was so much more than that. Not only did she help me find majority of my vendors from my makeup artist, florist, baker & decor but she worked as a liaison and negotiator to keep me under my budget! She was the calm voice of reason when I was freaking out, my guestbook, favors & other little things were in place. She made sure that rehearsal & my special day went without a hitch! This lady is a superwoman, rest assured she deserves all accolades thrown her way. She's organized, she's patient, she's budget friendly & she just gets the job done! A friend of mine recommended LaKisha and her team to coordinate my wedding, and after our initial conversation I was completely sold! LaKisha met with me to get a better feel for my vision and then took off. Most of the vendors we used at our wedding was because she suggested them. LaKisha has such a good rapport with people, that you trust them and they immediately felt like a part of your family.
She and her staff were professional and TIMELY! We had a few hiccups on our day, but LaKisha and her team were right there to make sure our wedding was exactly how we planned it. There aren't enough words to express our gratitude and how much we HIGHLY recommend Timely Expressions for your event!

Lakisha and her team is amazing! After 1 phone conversation...I knew she was it :)Not even meeting her until later, our conversations on the phone were like we've known each other for years. Timely Expressions is hands down the best. My wife and I hired them after realizing we needed help with the wedding planning process.
